BEFORE SEPTEMBER 1st, PLEASE!
While we love your kiddos, we appreciate your understanding that our special day will be adults-only with the exception of children in our immediate families. We know that this can complicate things when it comes to travel and finding childcare, so please know that we completely understand if that means you will be unable to make it. We will miss having you there to celebrate with us, of course, but we would never want you or your kiddos to feel uncomfortable or unsafe at any point.
Unfortunately, due to limitations at the venue, we're only able to accommodate the number of people listed on the invitation.
This choice depends on what your preferred airline is! Love Field (DAL) only has Southwest, Delta, and Alaska airlines, but DFW will have pretty much every other airline you could ever dream of.
There is a link to our hotel block at Aloft Richardson in the Travel tab! If you would prefer to stay elsewhere, there are myriad options in Richardson, Plano, and Dallas.
Yes! The dress code is cocktail/semi-formal for the ceremony and reception. Of course, feel free to be as fancy as you think is appropriate for what will likely be an outdoor ceremony in Texas in October (re: probably way hotter than anyone would care for). Please do not wear jeans, shorts, t-shirts, or flip-flops We know how confusing wedding guest dress codes can be, so here are some resources to help you determine what you'd like to wear! https://www.theknot.com/content/wedding-guest-attire-cheat-sheet https://www.theknot.com/content/cocktail-wedding-attire https://www.cosmopolitan.com/style-beauty/fashion/a60897414/what-is-semi-formal-wedding-attire/ https://www.brides.com/story/wedding-dress-code-explained We can't wait to see everyone all gussied up!
We will be having Babe's Chicken Dinner House for dinner. They have *legitimately* some of the best fried chicken and sides we've ever had. Smoked chicken will be served, as well. Our desserts will include a range of sweet treats, but Michael and I can't guarantee anything allergen-wise for either course. If you are very worried about food allergies, reach out to Brigid or Michael and we will do our best to make sure you have all available information at your disposal so you can make the right decision for you.
We are trying to secure this in order to keep everyone as safe as possible and ensure that everyone can really enjoy their evening. If you'll be staying at the hotel(s), check back closer to Wedding Day for updated info!
Yes, plenty! The ceremony and reception are both taking place at Cross Creek Ranch, so if you are driving yourself, you will have plenty of spots available for you. Please drive responsibly and secure a Designated Driver before the festivities begin <3
