“Don’t blink, just like that, you turn 34 and meet your love forever.” Our story started with a party bus, a Kenny Chesney concert, and a last-minute invite to help fill a few empty seats. Somewhere between the tailgate, the concert, and the ride home, our paths finally crossed - right at the end of the night. Laura stepped off the bus, and in what might be the smoothest opening line ever, I asked: “Who are you?” Somehow…it worked. Our first date at Third Street Social in Lees Summit felt effortless, like we’d known each other for years. What was supposed to be a quick night turned into hours of conversation we didn’t want to end. From there, everything just clicked. Weekend drives between Lees Summit and Olathe turned into a routine we loved. Holidays, Chiefs games, and time with family and friends quickly blended our lives into one. Not long after, we both knew - this was forever. A birthday trip to Chicago in June 2025 sealed it, a ring followed that October, and a proposal at a Chiefs tailgate made it official. Now we're planning our wedding and can’t wait to spend the rest of our lives together. All because of a party bus…and one simple question: “Who are you?”
