I have the privilege of being Blake’s man (best). Blake and I bonded over the years by loving movies and football, being scared of women, and communicating through Tik Toks. My favorite memory with the groom is when we got dressed up to go to a casino, but then got too intimidated to try any of the tables and just played slots with old people.

Hello! My name is Kara, and I am the younger sister to the bride. Emily and I got close after sharing a bedroom for 16 years and arguing over who got the top bunk of the bed. I have too many favorite memories with the bride, but a good one would be going to our first concert with her to see Hozier! It was my first concert, and our seats could hardly see him, but we had fun nonetheless!

I've been friends with Blake since elementary school, back when we played little league baseball together! After that, we stayed connected and became best friends since, staying up watching movies all night, playing video games together, and countless hours on the basketball court together. My favorite memory with the groom was senior year of high school where he was the basketball team manager. I have a lot of great memories of the bus rides to games, practices, and sitting with him on the bench was just fun to see him in a different element of competitiveness.

Hello! My name is Lexie, and I’m so glad I got over my fear of Emily (she was very intimidating at Jewel Osco)! My favorite memory with the lovely bride is when Emily, Kara, and I made bracelets and told each other we were going to be bridesmaids at each other’s weddings! Now the time has come for the first of us, and I’m so excited to share this era with my beautiful and talented friend. <3

I’m Blake’s older brother and I’ve been knowing him the better half of 24 years. I don’t remember the first couple cuz I was a wee lad myself. My favorite memory with the groom is going to a Vikings game in Minnesota. I was not a big fan myself at the time but it was really cool being there in person and seeing how much it meant to him and his reactions during the game.

A longtime friend that’s jealous that Emily won his heart and I didn’t. A golf buddy that just enjoys putting balls in holes with him. My favorite memory with the groom is the time in middle school where we made a pecan pie at 1 AM and Blake was in charge of watching it. But, he got distracted eating pub mix and the oven started smoking so bad that his dad woke up, came downstairs and threw the pie through a nearby window. (Blake still denies blame for this.)

Hi girly pops! My name is Katelynn. My favorite memory with the bride is when we had a girls day down at lake of the ozarks. We played mermaids. We also told ourselves that the water was way warmer than it actually was. It was actually really freaking cold. Fortunately we both get to marry one of the Phillips boys so I’m sure there will be a lot more memories made over the years

Blake and I share a deep love of the Minnesota Vikings and have known each other since elementary school. (Have never been involved romantically) My favorite memory with the groom is either the last day of middle school where him and I just walked around the school visiting our teachers and not attending a single class. Or when we both were attending Waubonsee and after classes would go get BBQ at South Moon.

Hello my name is Jacquelyne and one of my favorite memories with Emily is seeing her at one of her art shows. I got the opportunity to see all the beautiful work she has created, and the chance to get my hands on some great pieces. She is a beautifully talented artist and I am beyond impressed with all she does. We knew each other in high school but it wasn’t until recently that we have gotten closer, and I am so happy to be a part of her special day. Can’t wait to make many more memories with you <3

The “Alaskan Native” of the group that suspiciously looks Hispanic… been knowing pookie since 7th grade. Became really close friends in high school where we then hung out and played basketball after school and the rest is history. My favorite memory with the groom is when I was tasked with driving in less than ideal winter conditions where I may or may not have Tokyo drifted the car into a snow ditch, it's all good we survived this alleged incident.
