Where is the Wedding Ceremony and Reception?

All events will be taking place outside at Windows on The Water at Surfrider Beach Club, 931 Ocean Ave, Sea Bright, NJ 07760

What time should I arrive for the ceremony?

Answer

Guests are expected to arrive at 4:00pm. Please arrive no later than 4:20pm. The ceremony will begin at 4:30pm sharp!

What should I wear?

Answer

Please wear beach formal attire. The ceremony and cocktail hour will take place outside on a deck with beach access. The reception will be under a tent on the beach. Sandals and light sweaters are recommended.

How can I get to the wedding from the hotel?

Answer

A shuttle services will be provider to and from the hotel. Please ask the front desk for information when you arrive.

You can park at Windows on The Water at Surfrider Beach Club parking lot.

What is the temperature like this time of year? Is the wedding indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The temperature is usually perfect in September. Expect temperatures in the high 70’s and possible humidity. The ceremony will be outside. The cocktail hour and reception area will be indoors but with easy accessibility to the beach and outdoor deck. It is recommended to being sandals and a light sweater.

What happens after the ceremony?

Following the ceremony all guests will enter the deck for cocktail hour. Cocktail hour is from 5:00pm to 6:00pm

How do I get to the venue?

Answer

Windows on the Water is located on Ocean Avenue which connects to highway 36. It is. part of a beach club so you will see people coming in and out. It is across the street from the Rum Runner

Can I bring a date?

Answer

We have a strict guest list to stay on budget. Our wedding is strictly RSVP only. We will only able to accommodate those listed on your invitation.

Do you have a hotel block for guests? Where do you recommend I stay?

Answer

Yes! The room block is at The Sheraton in Eatontown, NJ. Please see Hotel Accommodations for more information on pricing. We tried to get you all the best rate! If you would rather stay somewhere closer to the Bride we recommend The Holiday Inn in Hazlet. If you are looking for hotels on the beach, check out The Ocean Palace, The Wave and The Bungalow! They are beautiful but definitely a splurge from the wallet!

When is the RSVP deadline? Do I need to mail back my RSVP or can I do it online?

Answer

Please RSVP by August 13th. Please mail back your RSVP.

Are the ceremony and reception location wheelchair accessible?

Answer

Yes! There is wheelchair accessibility throughout the venue. Please be aware that the ceremony will be outside on the sand so please prepare accordingly. The staff at Windows on the Water will be their to assist sith any accommodations needed on the beach.

May I take a centerpiece/candle/flowers home as a souvenir?

Answer

Yes! The DJ will play a game at the end of the night and the winner of each table can take the centerpiece home. Flowers are good to take. The lanterns are not good to take as these belong to the venue.

Can I take and post pictures of the wedding on social media?

Answer

Yes! We encourage guests to post pictures on to their social media channels, our only request is that you tag each photo with our wedding hashtag #nickandnicforever so we can keep track of all of your pictures!”

It is an Open Bar!

Do I need to wear a mask? (COVID Cautious)

Answer

We will be providing custom masks for all guests but you will not be mandated to wear them. The choice is yours but staff will be required.
