Cocktail attire is preferred: cocktail dresses, LBDs, dressy jumpsuits, and dark jackets and slacks. But feel free to wear whatever you feel comfortable in—just please, no white dresses, ladies and gents. And remember: Charleston in August is hot and humid! The ceremony and reception will be indoors, but cocktail hour will be outside (weather permitting).

Yes! If you are staying at The Ryder and would like to check in earlier than 8/24 or check out after 8/26, you can extend your reservation at the discounted rate by emailing LGonzalez@theryderhotel.com (subject to availability, so the earlier, the better). If you’re staying in downtown Charleston, you probably don’t need a rental car. The downtown area is very walkable, and you can use Uber/Lyft to get to/from the CHS airport.
