ArtPrize
ArtPrize is an open, independently organized international art competition which takes place in Grand Rapids, Michigan. It celebrates artists working in all mediums from anywhere in the world, and is open to any creative with an artwork to enter and a venue willing to host it.

This is a great place for food, shopping, art, and culture. A great place to pack a picnic lunch to enjoy at one of the local parks or at the beach!
Saugatuck Dunes State Park
Don't leave Michigan without visiting the Lake Michigan! Enjoy the sun, sand, and clear waters without the salt or sharks :)
Frederik Meijer Gardens
It’s a 158-acre botanical garden and outdoor sculpture park. And there's also a Japanese garden to explore. This is definitely a must-see!
Beer City
Grand Rapids is known as Beer City USA - it was voted Best Beer Town and Best Beer Scene, for its 80+ breweries. You can become a Beer City Brewsader!! Or create your own trail of breweries, cideries, dilstilleries, and meaderies! There's a map in the link to get you started :)
