After chatting on Bumble for a week, we had our first date at Ten Mile brewery in Downtown Helena. Other first dates included the Hawthorne Wine Bar, Hokkaido Sushi and Ramen, and Great Divide Ski Hill, all of which are still some of our favorite places. After just 6 weeks of dating the world went into quarantine, and our "COVID Courtship" began. Thank God we had each other to get through the shut down! We came out of that time closer than we ever would have otherwise.

On a sunny May Saturday in Helena, Jenny took Ben on a hike. He was very confused as to why Jenny wanted to get up before 11 on a Saturday morning, but he rolled with it. At the top of Bompart Hill near Mount Ascension, Jenny got down on one knee and asked Ben to marry her with a claddagh ring, to which he replied, "Of course, Yes!" Jenny's sister, Carmen, brother-in-law, Judah, and friend, Sara, were there hiding in the bushes to capture the special moment.
