This free roadside attraction lets you get up close and personal with tons of goats! Bring some fruits or veggies with you to quickly become the goat’s favorite person!
This is one of Josh and I’s favorite stops for a sweet treat. Flavors rotate in and out frequently but you can’t go wrong with the Zanzibar chocolate, coconut almond bliss, or this $&@! just got serious. Pro tip- they’ll let you put two flavors in almost any size dish so if you’re having trouble deciding between a couple flavors you can always get both!
Josh and I’s favorite place for Mexican food! Josh usually goes for a large draft Dos Equis and El Tapatio, Muriel always orders a jumbo lime margarita on the rocks and has several favorite dishes she cycles through, most often she gets the birria quesadilla or the Jalisco enchiladas but you’d be hard pressed to find even one bad thing on the menu!
A great place for classic bar foods with a twist! Don’t skip the Pat’s queso dip with both flatbread and chips for your starter, Josh swears by the Strawberry Hill burger, Muriel loves the Cubana sandwich and the garlic parm fries which come absolutely loaded with garlic and with a side of Caesar dressing for dipping.
If you’re more of a smash burgers and high end cocktails person then Flask is the place for you. Start with the homemade fried pickles or pizza rolls, the French fries are fresh made and seasoned generously with kosher salt and corse ground pepper, and don’t forget to ask about the seasonal cocktails and adult milkshakes!
Just down the street from Muriel’s office is Dino’s. They have fantastic thin crust pizza on homemade dough served straight from their brick oven as well as delicious pasta and some seriously amazing ranch dressing. Check out their monthly specials for one of a kind appetizers, main dishes, pizzas, desserts, and drinks!
I know it’s a chain but I just wanted to make sure that you all know you can get warm cookies from here until 3am and they deliver!
A true dive bar that serves up huge burgers- including a 2 pound behemoth that can easily feed a family of four…………….or one Josh
If you’d like your dinner with a lake view and want to check out the little town Muriel and Josh call home this is the place for you!
If you have littles in need of entertainment this is a great park that has all kinds of equipment and a petting zoo with no admission fee. Go down some slides, pet a cow, feed some koi, and enjoy some fresh fresh air!
Daily admission to a Minnesota State park is $7 per vehicle per day. Minneopa is home to a beautiful waterfall, hiking trails, and a drive through bison enclosure. In the spring the bison tend to be fairly active and if you’re lucky you might catch a glimpse of a calf or two!
