Our Adventure is Beginning

We met online on November 28, 2022. Jada had just moved to Raleigh from Tampa and started working at Harris Teeter while transferring her Cosmetology license. Evan worked in loss prevention at Aldi. After a late night at Taco Bell and sharing stories, we became inseparable. Though Evan wanted to take things slow, he officially asked Jada out four days later, on December 2. After many game nights, long drives to Kentucky, two apartments, and career changes, we’re ready to build our lives together. On December 14, 2024, at Fuquay Mineral Springs Park, under Christmas lights after watching the Nutcracker Ballet, Evan proposed. Jada, being her nosey self, excitedly exclaimed, “I was right!” and said, “Of course I’ll marry you!” After nearly two years of planning our special day with friends and family, we can't wait to spend forever together. Georgia baby boy, raised in Fuquay Varina fell in love with a Florida girl. Both enjoy gaming with family, road tripping to Kentucky to see friends, or binging movie series. The groom more so fantasy, a Lord of the Rings fanatic, Star Wars historian, Halo player. The bride more true crime, Sopranos, and Blum house scares. He cooks, she bakes. He reads, she paints. You won't find one without the other. Ms. Independent fell for Mr. Fix it. Both eldest siblings. Both metal and rock listeners, the groom has a wider music repertoire in genres, they both enjoy wide ranges of music (mostly 70s-00s) Only sport you'll catch them watching is hockey, usually the Lightning beating out the Hurricanes (the bride was here)
