The Start Of Our Forever

We met in the year of 2008 at the age of 16 when we were both attending a birthday party through family. We instantly clicked doing all the goodie bags the night before getting ready to help out with the party. After that weekend we exchanged information and made any excuse to get our families together to see each other. He lived in Las Vegas while I lived in Covina, CA. He was the first boy to send me flowers. Unfortunately with the long distance we both got busy with life and lost touch. Over the years we both had our parents bring up the one that got away to see if we had seen or talked to eachother and the thought was always in the back of our minds. 15 years later his mom reached out to me on Facebook and we caught back up. Of course I had to ask how Austin was! She asked if I was seeing anyone and when I said no she quickly played match maker and gave me Austins phone number to reach out to. He responded quickly, we made plans to meet up and have been inseparable ever since. We were each others "One that got away" We cannot wait to say I do!
