Courtney and Megan met when Megan was a program coach and Courtney was her director at Eagle Lake Camps. Megan can be the goofiest person around Courtney. Courtney has been Megan's solid rock and biggest cheerleader. Courtney is up for anything. Courtney is real and kind. Courtney is funny and silly. Megan experienced many hardships in the last two years and Courtney has never wavered in her friendship and love for Megan. Megan could not imagine her big day without the support Courtney provides.
Rachel Copeland

Rachel and Megan spent most of middle school and high school together. They became bffs when Rachel joined Heidi’s high school small group. Rachel and Megan share the love of music, coffee, and movies. Megan remembers going to the movies with Rachel late at night as high school seniors and sneaking in Taco Bell. Rachel has been such an empathetic listener. Rachel always give sound advice. Rachel is down for any weird or fun adventure Megan wants to do. Megan cannot imagine Rachel not being by her side because they grew up together and Megan loves that Rachel is the friend that sticks by your side as you grow and change.
Noelle Green

Noelle was Megan’s college roommate. Noelle and Megan are polar opposites, but it worked so well. It’s like Noelle compliments any weakness Megan has. Noelle and Megan joke because in college Noelle always had her room clean and was in bed by 9PM and Megan was always home late and shoving clothes under her bed. Noelle is always shows so much love to people despite their differences. Noelle is real and honest. Noelle and Megan went on so many fun trips to California in college. Megan cannot imagine her big day without Noelle because of how much life they shared and college and they were able to stay friends as they continue to grow up!
Alaina Boswell

Alaina is actually the reason Josiah and Megan got together. LONG before Josiah and Megan went to a concert together where Josiah and Megan hit it off. Alaina and Megan were at a friends wedding and Megan jokingly said, “Alaina which guy friend are you gonna set me up with here” and lain had said, “ok you have been friends with Josiah for a while. Have you ever thought about him….” And Megan giggled. But, Megan thought about it and Megan could not stop thinking about Josiah. Hehehe. Alaina is the realest human you will ever meet. She tells you it straight up. Megan appreciates her honesty and her willingness to help bring sound advice. Alaina is so funny, once you get to know her you are gigglin all the time. Megan cannot wait to have Alaina by her side because of how she has shown up for Megan in her lowest points. Alaina is not judgmental and she cares so much.
Katie Greene

Katie and Megan were in Heidi’s small group for one year. Megan was a baby freshman and Katie a senior! Megan admired how much joy Katie illuminated every week. Fast forward to 2017, when Katie was like, “yo megan u would be real cool as a counselor at this camp” of course I said yes and in 2018 I joined her team that summer. Katie is a baller leader. She is fun and a powerful woman! She listens well and is wise with her words. Throughout megan’s time at el, Katie was more than a boss, she was a friend. Katie is someone who shows up for people and gives more than enough to support others. I am so happy to have her stand by my side because she has been such a role model for me. In my hardest days, she showed up.
Hannah Harris

Hannah and Megan met their first week at GCU. You know how the first week of college is, you make friends that can last a lifetime. This friendship was made at a soccer game because megan and hannah were the loudest ones there and decided that was a good reason to be bffs. Megan admires Hannah’s drive for life. Hannah is hardworking and a master of all things. If Hannah does not know how to do something, she will learn. Hannah is more than generous with everything in her life. What is hers is yours. She always invites people into things. She gives people the benefit of the doubt, but also fights for what is right. This friendship never ended when Megan moved away. It started where it left off and has grown stronger ever since. Megan cannot imagine Hannah not being by her side because of the power duo they are together. They laugh, they cry, they are honest about what is happening in their lives. I cannot wait to continue to see how we grow and learn from each other.
Marcus Schmidt
Best Man
Marcus is Josiah's long time best friend. Marcus first met Josiah sometime in 2008 during Sunday School. Marcus recognized Josiah's last name, Neumann, as the postman from the well known series Seinfeld, of which the final episode aired when both Marcus and Josiah were only 2 years old. Fortunately, Josiah knew the reference and embraced the nickname. From then on, Marcus and Neumann would grow from acquaintances in middle school, to close friends in high school, and later best friends and roommates in college. Marcus always admired, and encouraged, Neumann's comedic integrity. Much more important to their relationship though, was Marcus's deeply thoughtful and considerate heart. He has been a loyal friend and always been there for Neumann over the years.
Benjamin Neumann

Benjamin is Josiah's big brother, not by mass though. Josiah passed him on that scale along time ago. Benjamin however, has always had a passionate attention for the valuable (AKA whatever is better than its contemporaries). Benjamin is cool, because he has good taste. He made sure to impart that on his little brother. An example is when 11 year old Josiah decided, "I want to listen to rap, but only the good stuff. The old stuff! Like Run DMC!" So 18 year old Benjamin went out and bought him the album "Fear of a Black Planet" by Public Enemy. It met the criteria that Josiah listed, but had entirely more substance than "Run DMC Greatest Hits". Benjamin conveyed to Josiah that some things are more worth our time than others. They both went through hipster-ish phases of rejecting anything popular (Benjamin would say he is not still in that phase). This appreciation of value has influenced more topics than art, but justice too. Benjamin will not settle for a poor book, or a poor world. In this regard, Benjamin will always be an example to his little brother.
Behr Boswell

Josiah was Behr's supervisor in 2017 at Eagle Lake resident camp. When Josiah met Behr, he thought, "That is one long-haired, cool kid." While Behr no longer has his long hair, he is still very cool. Josiah and Behr became friends at Eagle Lake, and later roommates in 2020. Behr is a man with many irons in many fire, because he lives with intensity in all that he does! Josiah is grateful for knowing Behr because it has made Josiah's life more vibrant. Behr has invited Josiah onto his podcast to discuss monster movies. Behr has encouraged Josiah to stage dive at local hardcore punk shows. Josiah and Behr even took turns unclogging a running trash compactor like in Star Wars. Behr was also the lovely waiter/photographer that served Josiah and Megan the night of their proposal!
James Renner

James and Josiah became roomates in December 2019 when they both moved to Colorado Springs. James and Josiah became close friends in this year. James is a home-body like Josiah and they had similar tastes in food, books, and movies. Josiah has always admired James for his quiet, but passioned hobbies. Josiah watched James learn how to crochet and escalate his projects from blankets to backpacks. James is not quietly crocheting with all of his time, though. James has his silly moods, and his passionate moments when he is telling stories or sharing his passions for music and history. James is an avid camper and explorer. Josiah is grateful for the time they lived together and the time they spent both climbing mountains and sitting calmly in the house on a Friday night.
Will Geisz

Josiah and Will crossed paths in 2015 in the beautiful mountain town of Granby, Colorado. Will was witness to many of Josiah's summer antics, such as an enduring love or Pringles and Sriracha. Will would partake in snacking. Will would partake. Will is like a handsome, impressive, and sturdy suspension bridge; he is supportive. Josiah and Will would go on to be roommates again senior year of college. One thing Josiah always appreciates about Will is his deep thought. Ask Will a spiritual question, or a political question, or an absurd question. No matter what you will get a thoughtful answer.
Lukas Kiliman

When Josiah first met Lukas, he thought, "This guy is cool. This guy is fun. This guy is nice. I want to be his friend." This impression was so pure to Lukas, because he is genuinely cool, fun, and nice friend. Josiah counts himself lucky, that Lukas has become such a good friend. Lukas has deep a seated passion for the world and everyone in it. The enthusiasm that Lukas carries makes him terrible at any kind of game involving deceit, but it also makes him an inspiring friend to stand beside and spend time with.

I love my Alice girl!!!! She has been such a big part of megan’s life and megan loves that Alice gets to share a special moment with her niece. Additionally, Alice will be happy that megan is marrying uncle “joeysiah”
