Our Story
Nick and Mikayla met at Mikayla's birthday party in December 2018 through their mutual friend, Derek (the best man!). They started dating, and a short three weeks later, Nick moved to San Francisco. Mikayla knew there was something special about Nick, and decided to take a chance and go visit.
One year and many trips to San Francisco later, Nick moved back to Seattle. COVID happened and Mikayla moved in with Nick, his sister, Lindsay (a bridesmaid!), and their friend, Bryn (also a bridesmaid). They all managed to stay somewhat sane while trapped together during COVID and bonded by planning Just Dance on the Wii.
Two years and two more moves later, Nick and Mikayla were living together in Greenlake, and thinking about marriage. Nick proposed on Valentine's Day 2023 and it's been a busy year since then planning our wedding, and also buying our first home!

We loved Charleston so much we had to go back again the next year! Very thankful for Mikayla's family there for letting us stay with them. May 2022
