The ceremony will begin at 6:00 in the evening. We ask that guests arrive at most 30 minutes before the start of the ceremony.
Short answer: Yes. Long answer: The ceremony and reception will both be held outdoors, lakeside. We want you to be comfortable. We ask that you adhere to the "Garden Attire" or "dressy-casual" dress code. No jeans please!! Garden attire includes sundresses, floral prints, suits in lighter hues, fun hats, etc! Cocktail attire is also a good choice. Again, this is an outdoors event! In Texas! It may be hot or it may be wet. This is also a standing ceremony! Please plan accordingly. (Maybe no high heels?)
There is a hard limit on the number of guests we are allowed as there is a strict capacity limit set in place for our venue. We tried to offer everyone that we could a plus one, but if you did not receive a plus one please do not be upset! RSVPs will say "We have reserved ___ seat(s) in your honor." but if you have any questions please let us know!!
Yes! If you are not wanting to stay in the cabins at Loyd Park, there are plenty of great hotels in the surrounding area. Visit the Travel page to check some of them out!
We have our own, private parking lot right next to the pavilion that the ceremony and reception will be held at.
We have private, on-site restrooms situated right next to the pavilion.
Yes! We have coordinated with the park so that every guest on the list is allowed in the park, entry fees covered by the lovely bride and groom. Specific instructions will be uploaded soon, stay tuned!
The event will wind down at 9pm to give us enough time to clean up the site before we have to leave.
