Allison and Ryan's story began in September of 2020. At the height of the pandemic, they met for drinks at Posto after connecting on a dating app. Over a couple of margaritas, they quickly realized they had an effortless connection—and even several mutual friends. One date led to another, and before long, they were inseparable. The years that followed were filled with countless dinner dates, weekend getaways & vacations— especially to Cape Cod, Maine, & Florida— and time with each other's families and friends. Fast forward to August of 2022, Allison and Ryan moved into their first apartment in Enfield, CT. Shortly after, they adopted their cat, May, who has added even more love—and a lot of chaos—to their lives. Since then, their home here together has been their favorite place to be. In July of 2024, Ryan surprised Allison with a mini-getaway in Old Saybrook, CT. While on a walk by the water, Ryan got down on one knee and proposed, just the two of them. Now, they’re so excited to celebrate the next chapter of their lives surrounded by the people they love most.
