Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Cocktail Attire Cocktail attire is more refined than business wear but less formal than black tie. For a winter wedding, guests should choose darker, richer colors and seasonally appropriate fabrics. Women typically wear cocktail dresses or elegant skirts with dress shoes. Men should wear a suit and tie in dark or neutral tones with dress shoes. We do not recommend jeans, t-shirts, polo shirts, sneakers, casual boots, sundresses, or bulky sweaters.

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

Due to venue capacity, we are unable to accommodate plus ones. Only those named on the invitation are invited.

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

While we love families and children, only children who are named on your invitation are invited. We encourage you to treat this event as an adults'/parents' night out.

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

Due to the size of the estate, we recommend arriving thirty minutes before the ceremony starts, and we recommend being seated 15 minutes before the ceremony starts.

Question

Should I use my cell phone or camera during the ceremony?

Answer

Please refrain from using your cell phone during the ceremony. That includes taking photos, videos, and talking on the phone. Please silence your ringer. The bride and groom have arranged for professional photography and videography.

Question

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

There is free parking at the Estate on the Halifax.

Question

Is the event indoors or outdoors?

Answer

All major events are indoors, but portions of the sunset cocktail hour are outdoors on paved surfaces. Be prepared for moderate Florida temperatures and breezes.
