Maid of Honor
Some people come into your life for a season, but if you're lucky, you find someone who stays for a lifetime. I found that person in kindergarten, long before I knew just how much she would mean to me. We've grown up together, from little girls with big dreams to the women we are today. She's been there for the laughter that left us breathless, the tears we thought would never stop, and all the moments in between. She's seen every version of me, even the ones I struggled to love myself, and has loved me through them all. There's something so special about having a best friend who remembers the little girl you used to be while loving the woman you've become. She knows my heart, my stories, and the parts of me that words could never explain. Her heart is one of the most beautiful things about her. As a NICU nurse at Children's Mercy, she spends her days caring for the tiniest babies and their families, showing the same kindness, strength, and compassion I've been lucky enough to know my entire life. When I picture my wedding day, I can't imagine anyone else standing beside me. Before I ever knew who I'd marry, I already knew who my best friend was. We used to dream about the lives we'd have someday, and now she gets to stand beside me as I begin this next chapter. Of all the things that have changed since kindergarten, I'm so thankful that having her by my side never has to be one of them. 🤍
Best Man
Some people spend their whole lives looking for a best friend, but I was lucky enough to grow up with mine. My brother has been there since the very beginning. Before life got complicated, before we had responsibilities, and long before either of us knew where life would take us. We've shared a childhood full of memories, countless laughs, probably a few arguments, and stories that only the two of us will ever fully understand. There's something special about having someone who doesn't just know the person you are today, but remembers every version of you along the way. He's seen me grow up, make mistakes, figure life out, and become the man I am today. And through it all, he's always been my brother. When I think about my wedding day, it means more than I can explain to know he'll be standing beside me. I think about the two little boys we used to be, never imagining that one day we'd be standing side by side as one of us gets married. Life will keep changing. We'll grow older, build our own families, and make new memories. But no matter how much time passes, we'll always have the childhood we shared and a bond that nothing can replace. Before I ever knew what it meant to become a husband, I knew what it meant to be his brother. And as I begin one of the biggest chapters of my life, I couldn't imagine anyone else standing beside me. 🤍
Matron of Honor
It's crazy to think there was a time in my life when I didn't even know Grace existed. One random day in college, our paths crossed, and neither of us had any idea that something so ordinary would turn into a friendship that would mean so much. What started as two girls meeting in college turned into countless memories, endless laughter, conversations about everything and nothing, and a friendship I can't imagine my life without. Grace came into my life when we were still figuring out who we were and what we wanted our futures to look like. Somewhere along the way, she became someone I couldn't imagine my future without. She's celebrated my happiest moments, stood beside me through the hardest ones, and made even the most ordinary days unforgettable. I think one of the most beautiful things about friendship is realizing that someone who was once a complete stranger has become someone you never want to do life without. Having Grace stand beside me as my Matron of Honor means more than I could ever explain. The girl I met by chance in college is now someone I get to share one of the biggest days of my life with. We had no idea what that first day would lead to, but I'm so thankful it led me to her. And someday, when we're old and looking back at all the memories we've made, I hope we still smile thinking about how it all started with one ordinary day in college. Because that ordinary day gave me an extraordinary friend. 🤍
Groomsman
There's something special about knowing that before Alisha ever met me, before she knew what love or marriage would look like, she already had someone beside her. That someone was her twin brother, John. Their story is one that not everyone will fully understand. From being adopted to growing up together and experiencing all the ups and downs life has brought them, they share a bond that goes beyond simply being brother and sister. They've been part of each other's lives since the very beginning, and no matter how much life changes, that's something no one can ever take away. Being twins doesn't mean life has always been easy or that they've always seen eye to eye. But there's something powerful about having someone who knows where you came from because they were right there living it with you. Having John stand beside me as a groomsman means more than just having my future brother-in-law in our wedding. It means having someone who has been part of Alisha's story since day one standing beside me as I become part of her forever. I may be the man who gets to spend the rest of his life with her, but John is the brother who was there long before I came along. And as we begin our life together, I'm grateful that the person who shared her very first chapter will be standing beside us as we begin our next one. 🤍
Bridesmaid
There's something about growing up that makes you wish you could go back, even just for a moment, and tell your younger self which people would still be there years later. If I could go back to elementary school, I'd tell that little girl to hold onto Jillian, because one day she'd be standing beside her on her wedding day. We've watched each other grow from little girls who had no idea what the future held into women chasing dreams we once could only imagine. Life looks so different now. We don't see each other nearly as often, and sometimes months pass before we catch up. But the beautiful thing about our friendship is that time has never made it feel any less special. Watching Jillian work toward becoming a lawyer makes me so proud. Sometimes I wish our younger selves could see us now. I think they'd be amazed at how far we've come. When I picture my wedding day, it means so much knowing she'll be there. Not just because she's my friend, but because she's a piece of a childhood I'll never get back, a reminder of the girl I was before life changed so much. Someday, we'll look back at these pictures and realize we were still so young, with so much life ahead of us. And I hope that no matter how many years pass, we'll always find our way back to each other. Because even though we can't go back to being those little girls, I'm so grateful I still get to know the woman mine grew up beside. 🤍
Man of Honor
When I joined the fraternity, I had no idea that the guy who would become my big brother would eventually become one of the people I'd want standing beside me on my wedding day. Levi started out as my fraternity big brother, but somewhere between the late nights, hunting trips, countless laughs, and adventures we probably shouldn't tell too many people about, he became a real brother to me. Some of my favorite memories are the simplest ones. The early mornings heading out to hunt, the long days outdoors, the conversations, and the moments where we didn't have to say much at all. Those are the kinds of memories you don't realize mean so much until you look back on them. Levi has been someone I've learned from, looked up to, and known I could count on. What started as a fraternity tradition turned into a friendship I hope we're still talking about when we're old and remembering all the things we used to do. When I look back at my wedding pictures years from now, I'm glad he'll be in them. Not just because he was one of my groomsmen, but because he was part of the years that helped make me who I am. We may have met because of a fraternity, but I'm grateful our friendship didn't end when those days did. And as I get ready to marry Alisha, it means a lot to have someone who's shared so many chapters of my life standing beside me for this one. Here's to all the memories we've made and the ones we haven't even dreamed of yet. 🤍
Bridesmaid
If I could go back to being a little girl, I'd tell myself to soak up every moment of having Sheridan just next door. Back then, we had no idea how lucky we were to have each other so close, or that one day we'd grow up and live states apart. Sheridan wasn't just my neighbor. She was part of my childhood, part of the memories I wish I could relive just one more time, and someone who made growing up a little sweeter. There's something heartbreaking and beautiful about getting older and realizing the days you thought would last forever have quietly become memories. Now she's in Alabama serving in the Army, building a life I'm so incredibly proud of. I miss having her close, and sometimes I wish we could go back to when seeing each other was as simple as walking next door. Sheridan has one of the kindest hearts I've ever known. No matter how many miles separate us, she'll always be someone who feels like home. Having her beside me on my wedding day means more than I can explain. The little girl who once lived next door gets to stand beside me as I become a wife. I wish our younger selves could see us now. I think they'd be proud of the women we've become, but I also think they'd hold onto those childhood days a little tighter. Because while we can't go back to living next door, I'll always be thankful that life once put us close enough to become forever friends. 🤍
Groomsman
It's funny how some of the best people in your life are the ones you never expected to meet. If it weren't for Jillian, I might never have met Ethan, and I'm so thankful life worked out the way it did. What started as simply knowing each other through Jillian turned into a friendship full of hunting stories, whiskey, countless laughs, and memories I wouldn't trade for anything. Ethan is one of those guys you can spend hours with, doing absolutely nothing, and somehow have the best time. But what I admire most about Ethan goes far beyond our friendship. It's the kind of man he is and how much his family means to him. The way he values the people he loves, puts family first, and never loses sight of what matters most is something I've always respected. As I get ready to marry Alisha and begin building a life together, I find myself thinking more about the kind of husband and man I want to be. Ethan may not even realize it, but the way he carries himself and loves his family is something I genuinely look up to. Having him stand beside me on my wedding day means more than just having a good friend there. It means having someone I respect and am grateful to have in my corner. Years from now, I hope we're still sharing hunting stories, pouring whiskey, and making memories with the people we love. Because the best friendships aren't just about the memories you make. Sometimes they're about the people who inspire you to become a better man. 🤍
Bridesmaid
If you've ever met Lauren, you know she's the kind of person who can make you laugh until your stomach hurts, even on days when you don't feel like smiling. She's been part of my life for so many years, and I genuinely can't imagine all those years without her in them. But what makes Lauren so special isn't just how funny she is. It's her heart. She has this way of making people feel comfortable, included, and loved without even realizing she's doing it. She's someone who can make you laugh one minute and remind you how lucky you are to have her the next. We've been through so many different seasons of life together. We've grown, changed, and watched life take us in directions we never expected. And through it all, I'm so thankful our friendship has remained. I think as you get older, you realize how rare it is to have people in your life who bring you so much happiness simply by being themselves. Lauren is one of those people for me. Having her stand beside me on my wedding day means more than she probably knows. She's been part of so many memories that have made my life beautiful, and now she'll be part of one I'll remember forever. I hope she knows that when I look around on my wedding day and see her standing there, I'll be reminded of just how lucky I am that life gave me someone like her. 🤍

Some friendships become so much more than you ever expected, and that's exactly what Trace has been to me. He's not just one of my best friends, he's someone I know I can count on no matter what life throws my way. If you know Trace, you know he has one of the biggest hearts of anyone you'll ever meet. He's the kind of guy who would drop everything to help someone he loves, never asking for anything in return. He's someone who doesn't just tell you he's there for you, he proves it. But one of the things that makes my friendship with Trace even more special is the relationship he has with Alisha. He's become like an older brother to her, someone who looks out for her, cares about her, and would do anything to make sure she's okay. There's something that means more to me than I can explain about knowing my best friend loves and protects the woman I'm about to marry like she's his own family. As Alisha and I begin our life together, I'm grateful we have someone like Trace in our corner. Someone who will celebrate our happiest moments and be there when life isn't so easy. Having him stand beside me on our wedding day means the world. Not just because he's my best friend, but because he's become such an important part of both of our lives. And if there's one thing I hope Trace always knows, it's that he's not just a friend to us. He's family, and he always will be. 🤍
Bridesmaid
One of the things I never fully realized about falling in love with Austin was just how many other people I would grow to love along the way. When I said yes to spending forever with him, I was also saying yes to becoming part of a family that would slowly become my own. And one of the people I'm especially thankful that brought into my life is Paisley. What I love about Paisley is how easy it is to be around her. She has such a fun personality, and there's something about being with her that makes everything feel a little more exciting. What started as getting to know Austin's cousin has turned into a relationship I'm genuinely excited to keep building. I think one of the sweetest parts of marriage is realizing that family isn't just about the people you've known your whole life. Sometimes it's about the people you meet along the way who make you feel like you belong. Having Paisley stand beside me on our wedding day means so much because she's not just there to celebrate me marrying her cousin. She's there as someone who is becoming part of my own story, too. I can't wait for the holidays, family gatherings, laughter, and all the memories we haven't made yet. I may have met Paisley because I fell in love with Austin, but I'm so thankful that loving him means I get to call her family for the rest of my life. 🤍

If there's one thing you should know about Parker, it's that life is never boring when he's around. He's my younger cousin, but somewhere between all the family gatherings, jokes, and memories we've made over the years, he's become so much more than just someone I see at family get-togethers. Parker has always been able to make me laugh, even when I'm trying not to. Whether we're giving each other a hard time or laughing about something nobody else would understand, he has a way of making the simplest moments some of the best ones. But what makes having Parker in my wedding so special isn't just the memories we've made. It's realizing how quickly life moves. I've gotten to watch him grow up, and now here we are, standing together for one of the biggest moments of my life. It's funny how you can spend years making memories with someone without realizing just how much those moments will mean to you someday. As I get ready to marry Alisha, I'm grateful to have Parker standing beside me. Not just because he's my cousin, but because he's someone I genuinely love having in my life. I hope years from now we're still giving each other a hard time, laughing at the same ridiculous jokes, and making memories our families will never let us forget. Because at the end of the day, family isn't just about who you're related to. It's about the people who make life better simply by being part of it. And Parker has always been one of those people for me. 🤍
Father of the Bride
There are a lot of people who have helped shape the person I am today, but no one quite like my dad. He's been my protector, my biggest supporter, and the person I've always known I could turn to, no matter how old I get or how much life changes. My dad has taught me more about love than he probably realizes. Not always through words, but through the way he's shown up, worked hard, put his family first, and made sure I never had to question how much I was loved. He's shown me that love isn't just something you say. It's something you prove, over and over again. As my wedding day gets closer, I find myself thinking about how much of who I am is because of him. Every sacrifice I may never fully understand, every time he put my happiness before his own, and every little thing he did that I probably didn't appreciate enough at the time. Dad, I hope you know that getting married doesn't mean I'll ever stop needing you. I'll still need your advice, your hugs, and the comfort of knowing you're always there. On my wedding day, you'll walk beside me toward the man I get to spend forever with. But I hope you know that no matter whose last name I carry or where life takes me, being your daughter will always be one of the greatest blessings of my life. You were one of the first people to show me what love looks like, and because of you, I knew what kind of love I deserved. I'll always be your little girl, Dad. And you'll always be one of the greatest loves of my life. 🤍
Father of the Groom
There are some things you don't fully understand until you get older, and one of those is just how much your dad has done for you. Growing up, I didn't always realize the sacrifices he made, the things he went without, or how much of himself he gave to make sure our family was taken care of. But the older I get, the more I understand. My dad has taught me more about being a man than he'll probably ever know. Not just through advice, but through the way he's lived his life. He's shown me what it means to work hard, love your family, keep your word, and be someone the people you love can depend on. As I get ready to marry Alisha, I think about the kind of husband I want to be and the life we hope to build together. And I realize that so much of what I know about love, family, and responsibility started with watching my dad. Dad, I hope you know how much I look up to you, even if I don't always say it. I hope I've made you proud, because becoming even half the man you've been to our family would mean I've done something right. On my wedding day, I'll be starting a new chapter of my life, but I'll be carrying everything you've taught me into it. I may be grown now, getting married, and building a life of my own, but I'll never outgrow needing my dad. And no matter how many years pass, I'll always be proud to be your son. I love you, Dad. More than I probably say enough. 🤍
Mother of the Bride
I don't think I'll ever fully understand everything my mom has done for me. The sacrifices she made without telling me, the worries she carried quietly, and the countless times she put my happiness before her own. But as I get older, I realize more and more just how lucky I am to be her daughter. My mom has been my safe place through every chapter of my life. She's the person I can call when everything feels like it's falling apart, the one who knows when something is wrong before I even say a word, and the person whose love I've never had to question. As my wedding day gets closer, I find myself realizing that so much of the woman Austin is marrying is because of the woman who raised me. Mom, I hope when you see me in my wedding dress, you see all the love you poured into me over the years. Every lesson, every sacrifice, every hug, and every moment you showed up when I needed you most. I hope you see a daughter who is proud to be even a little like her mother. Getting married means starting a family of my own, but it will never mean needing you any less. There will still be days when all I want is to call my mom, hear your voice, and know everything will be okay. You spent so much of your life helping me become the woman I am today, and now you get to watch me begin the life you helped prepare me for. No matter how old I get, how far life takes me, or what last name I carry, I'll always need my mom. And I'll spend the rest of my life being thankful that mine is you. 🤍
Mother of the Groom
I don't think a son ever truly realizes how much his mom has done for him until he gets older. All the sacrifices she made, the times she worried without saying a word, and the countless ways she put her family before herself. Growing up, those things were just part of life. Now, I realize they were love. My mom has been one of the few people who has known every version of me and loved me through them all. She's celebrated my accomplishments, stood by me through my mistakes, and believed in me during moments when I probably didn't believe in myself. As I get ready to marry Alisha, I think about everything my mom has taught me. Not just through her words, but through the way she's loved our family and shown up for us time and time again. Mom, I hope you know that even though I'm getting married, I'll never stop being your son. I'll still need your advice, your encouragement, and those moments when I can just be your kid again. On my wedding day, you'll watch me promise forever to the woman I love. But I hope you know that I wouldn't be the man standing at that altar without you. You spent so many years making sure I was loved, supported, and ready for whatever life brought my way. Now I get to take that love and carry it into the family Alisha and I will build together. And if I can give my family even a fraction of the love you've given me, I'll know I've done something right. I love you, Mom. More than I've probably ever been able to say. 🤍
Flower Girl
Some people have a special place in your heart from the moment they come into your life, and for me, Nova will always be one of those people. She's my niece, my late brother's daughter, and someone who means more to me than she'll probably ever understand. Nova has the sweetest little smile, the most beautiful eyes, and a personality that can brighten even the hardest days. There's something about her that makes you want to hold onto every hug, every laugh, and every moment just a little longer. I don't get to see her nearly as often as I'd like, and I wish I could be there for more of the little moments as she grows. But no amount of time or distance could ever change how much I love her or how special she'll always be to me. Having Nova as our flower girl means so much more than watching her walk down the aisle in a pretty dress. It means getting to share one of the most important days of my life with a little girl who holds such a big piece of my heart. Someday, when she's older, I hope she looks back at our wedding pictures and sees just how much she has always meant to me. And I hope she always knows that no matter how old she gets, where life takes her, or how much time passes between our visits, she will always have an aunt who loves her more than words could ever explain. My sweet Nova, you'll always be one of the most precious pieces of my heart. 🤍
Flower Girl
There are some little people who come into your life and somehow take up the biggest space in your heart. For me, Katherine is one of those people. I first got to know Katherine through babysitting her, but somewhere along the way, she became so much more than just a little girl I watched. She became someone I genuinely look forward to seeing, someone who can make my entire day better with just one hug. One of my favorite things about Katherine is how she comes running toward me with her arms wide open, ready to give me the biggest hug her little arms can manage. It's such a simple thing, but those are the moments I know I'll hold onto forever. When we asked Katherine to be one of our flower girls, her excitement was absolutely priceless. Seeing how happy she was made me realize just how special it is that she gets to be part of our wedding day. I know she'll look absolutely beautiful walking down the aisle, but what means the most to me is knowing that someone who has brought so much happiness into my life gets to share this moment with us. Someday, Katherine might not remember every little detail of our wedding, but I hope she'll always know how much she was loved and how happy we were to have her there. And I hope that no matter how big she gets, she'll never stop running up to give me those hugs. Because I don't think she'll ever realize just how much they mean to me. 🤍
Ring Bearer
Some of the smallest people have a way of bringing the biggest smiles, and Adrian is definitely one of them. He's such a sweet little guy, full of personality, energy, and enough stories to keep just about anyone entertained. If you've ever spent time with Adrian, you know he's never short on something to say. Whether he's telling you a story, asking questions, or just sharing whatever is on his mind, he has a way of making the people around him smile without even trying. One of the things we love most is the special bond he has with Austin's brother, our Best Man. The way Adrian lights up around him is the sweetest thing, and it's those little relationships that make having the people we love together on our wedding day even more meaningful. We're so excited to have Adrian as our ring bearer. We already know he'll bring his own little personality to the aisle, and we wouldn't want it any other way. One day, he'll be all grown up, and we hope he'll look back at our wedding pictures and smile knowing he was such a special part of our day. Because while he may be one of the littlest members of our wedding party, he's certainly not one of the least important. We can't wait to make this memory with him, and we hope he always knows how loved he is. 🤍
Officiant
Suzy has become such a special part of our lives over the past few years, and we are so grateful that our paths crossed. Through different experiences and memories, we have had the opportunity to get to know her on a much more personal level, including traveling to Honduras together and even sharing a room on one of those trips! Those experiences have given us so many memories and allowed us to build a relationship that means so much to both of us. Suzy has been there for some incredibly meaningful moments in our lives, including baptizing Austin, which made her connection to our family even more special. Having Suzy officiate our wedding feels incredibly fitting. She has been part of our journey in such a meaningful way, and we couldn’t think of a better person to help guide us into this next chapter together. We are so thankful for all the memories we have shared with her, the wisdom and love she has given us, and the role she has played in our lives. We are beyond excited to have her be the person who helps make our wedding ceremony so meaningful and memorable. 🤍
Wedding Planner
Rachel has been such a wonderful part of our wedding journey. From helping us bring all of our ideas together to making sure all the little details are taken care of, she has made this entire process feel so much easier and more enjoyable. We are so grateful for her organization, support, and the care she has put into helping make our wedding day everything we have dreamed of. We are so excited to have Rachel helping us bring it all together and cannot wait to see everything come to life on our wedding day! 🤍
Readers
It's amazing how God can bring people into your life at just the right time, and that's exactly how we feel about Capriya and Mason. We met them through our small group, and although we haven't known them nearly as long as some of the other people in our lives, they've already become a friendship we're incredibly thankful for. One of the things we admire most about Capriya and Mason is the love they have for each other. There's something so beautiful about watching two people genuinely enjoy doing life together, supporting one another, and choosing each other through it all. As we prepare to begin our own marriage, having a couple like them in our lives means more than they probably realize. We've learned that some friendships don't need years of history to become meaningful. Sometimes God places people in your life who remind you of the kind of love, faith, and friendship you hope to surround yourself with for years to come. Having Capriya and Mason serve as readers during our ceremony is especially meaningful to us. They'll be sharing words during one of the most important moments of our lives, as we stand before God and the people we love and promise forever to each other. We're so thankful our paths crossed, and we hope this is just the beginning of many years of friendship, memories, and growing together. Some people become part of your story long before you realize just how much they'll mean to you. We're so glad Capriya and Mason have become part of ours. 🤍
