We’re getting married... Again!

We swiped right! We met on the dating app bumble. It was a Friday afternoon when Scott and I "matched" online. It didn't take long for us to decide we wanted to meet each other and we met up for drinks only a few hours later. We met each other at Robinson's Ale House in Redbank. We laughed the night way and discussed everything from our careers, my kids, to our worst high school hangover drinks (Sloppy Profits and Purplesaurus Rex for those of you will know those references). LOL. After that, we couldn't get enough of each other and by the end of summer we were head over heels. The rest is history...

Most of you know this story by now, but Scott really outdid himself on this one. Scott and I were vacationing on the French Riviera in Nice, France. On our first night there (Scott wasted no time because he says the ring was burning a hole in his pocket, lol), Scott took me to a French Chateau called Chateau de la Chevre d'Or in a small town called Eze. The chateau was an old castle that dates back to Medieval Times sitting on the edge of a cliff but is now converted to a restaurant and hotel. Up the side of the cliff, the cliff is covered in the most beautiful gardens. Scott proposed in one of the gardens overlooking the Mediterranean Sea under the French Chateau. It was just the two of us with no one around for the most perfect and most beautiful intimate moment I could have ever have dreamed of. We then celebrated at the chateau outside with some champagne sitting at the edge and overlooking one of the most beautiful views in the world which is the picture above. It was the perfect night and then we spent the rest of the week celebrating our engagement enjoying locations such at Saint-Tropez, Monte Carlo in Monaco, and Lake Lucerne in Switzerland. It is a trip we will never forget and one of our most fondest memories!

Covid may have stopped our big wedding plans in 2020, but it didn’t stop our love for each other. While we had to push the big celebration back a year, we were able to take our vows and say “I do” to forever, marrying on our original wedding date this past October. We married in a very small ceremony on the beach in Avalon, NJ. It was a beautiful, intimate day that we will cherish forever. The only thing that was missing was all of you. We are truly excited to be able to share this moment and celebrate with all of you on our 1 year annivsary when we renew our vows at the wedding we’ve been waiting for!
