Chris & Krista met on Bumble, a dating app, in January 28, 2019. She swiped right on his profile and next thing you know the two exchanging conversations and making plans to meet. The date was at Otro Cinco, a Mexican restaurant in Syracuse, NY. Krista showed up early to get a margarita before Chris arrived, because she’s always early. It turns out Chris was running several minutes behind, so Krista had another margarita while she waited. After Krista had a slight buzz, Chris walked through the restaurant doors, and apologized for being late as he sat down next to Krista at the bar. Krista didn’t care much that he was running late at that point she was just happy to meet him. The two talked for hours about where they’re from, things they like to do, places they’ve gone, and their work. Both kept ordering “just one more” margarita and the two were laughing with one another as they exchanged stories. The conversation came easily to the two. They both were having such a nice time talking that they didn’t even notice that the bartender had taken all the tea light candles on the bar and surrounded both of them. Ahh, how romantic! Being that it was getting late, and they both had more than enough margaritas, they decided to end their date with a kiss goodbye. And the rest is history. Both remained intrigued with one another. Krista thought Chris was so interesting, smart, and good looking. Chris thought Krista was talented, creative and beautiful. Both set out on a long journey together filled with travels, laughs and hurdles to where they are now: soon to be husband and wife.
