It is in Emily's family's hometown, Topanga Canyon. The venue is off Topanga Canyon Highway/ Topanga Canyon Blvd, going north towards the beach. There will be signage on the way to the venue and at the bottom of the driveway telling you where to turn left. It can be easy to miss and cell service is not always reliable going through this canyon. It could be good to print directions beforehand.
4 PM-4:30 PM. The ceremony will be starting a little after 5 PM
Semi-formal. We would prefer for you to come in dark or muted tones to fit with the theme, but it is not required, and you can come in what you're comfortable. It's also a Southern California early fall wedding, so expect a super hot day and a cold night or a cold day all together. Either way, you'll want to bring a jacket.
We want all of the kids there. We understand how hard it can be to find child care especially for far away weddings but also don't want to separate loved ones. One of the reasons we picked this venue is so kids could come and join the fun and as long as it's still light out everyone is free to enjoy the kid's playground just down the stairs of the venue.
Unfortunately this venue though it has a park attached. It doesn't allow any pets in the area we will be having our event in. The only ones they allow in are service animals and children.
Yes, we have a valet that will be taking care of all of the parking and where each car will go. They also have handicapped parking right outside the entrance for anyone who needs it. If it also helps ceremony and reception will be held in the same building.
There are a multitude of hotels that are at the bottom of the hill you can look into in Calabasas, Woodland Hills, and Canoga Park.
Absolutely! Please let us know of anything. We already have peanuts, gluten, and a few other allergies in mind. If you also just have dietary restrictions please let us know and we can let you know if we have accommodated already or if we will need to add changes to the menu. We want everyone to be able to have the food we will be providing.
