Daniel and I both attended Auburn University in the fall of 2014 and instantly became friends. We were both majoring in music as well, so we had many, many classes together over the course of two years. Daniel and I became close friends and discovered that we lived only 30 minutes from each other! Therefore, sometimes Daniel would ask to ride home with me on weekend trips to Enterprise. The weekend of April 23rd, 2016, he asked to ride home with me. That very Saturday, he asked to take me on a date to the Wicksburg drive in movie theatre. Because I'd had a crush on Daniel since my freshman year, I absolutely obliged. We talked each other's ears off instead of watching "Zootopia." The following week, we ventured to Towns Creek Park to go on a walk and escape studying for our finals. We found ourselves in the gazebo, talking and asking each other endless questions about one another. That night, we shared our first kiss in the exact spot where he would ask me to be his wife on November 24, 2017! For the past year and a half, Daniel and I have cherished every moment we have together and are looking forward to growing in our relationship, and in our individual relationships with the Lord as we enter into this exciting season of life!
