Question

Do I need a visa to travel to Greece from the US?

Answer

No, you do not need a visa. However, all travelers from the US will need to apply for an ETAIS travel authorization for travel to the EU after May 1, 2025. Please make sure you apply before your trip.

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

There is no dress code, but here is some guidance. We've also created an inspo board here: https://pin.it/5QELVaaDA Welcome Party: Casual; bring your swimsuit if you plan on swimming, sunblock, and anything else you may want for a primarily outdoor party. Ceremony: We really don't care what people wear to the wedding as long as you promise to have fun with your attire! Dressing with the goal of making this wedding about you is strongly encouraged. Brunch: Casual, hungover chic.

Question

Do you have any accommodation recommendations?

Answer

Yes! There are several beautiful hotels and villas available close to Ekaterini Estate. We are keeping a spreadsheet of local villas we've found close to the venue. Please reference the "Travel" tab for a link to the spreadsheet.

Question

Is there transportation to and from the accommodations to the ceremony?

Answer

We will be organizing transportation to transport guests from a central meeting point to the venue, due to a steep driveway leading up to the venue. Please check back for more information on this in the coming months as we finalize vendors and plans.

Question

Is there parking at Ekaterini Estate?

Answer

There is limited parking available at the Estate. Please be aware that the driveway is very steep and can be difficult to navigate, according to our planner. We will be coordinating transportation up to the Estate. If you do plan on renting a car and would prefer to drive to the Estate, please let us know so we can ensure there is adequate parking available.

Question

Are there any other events that I should know about around the wedding?

Answer

Yes! All guests are encouraged to join us for the welcome party on May 9th and brunch on May 11th. Please see the "Schedule" tab for more information.

Question

I have a food allergy/diet restriction, can I make a special request?

Answer

Yes, please note your food allergy/restrictions in your RSVP.

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

Please plan to arrive at least 30 minutes prior to the start of the ceremony. Official ceremony start time will be finalized soon and confirmed in the "Schedule" section.

Question

Do you have a wedding registry?

Answer

We do not have a wedding registry. Thank you for making the trip to celebrate with us in Greece. It truly means the world to us!

Question

Will the wedding be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

As long as the weather cooperates, the ceremony and reception will be outdoors. Consider bringing a pashmina and/or sunglasses for the ceremony. It may be cooler after sunset, so please consider bringing an extra layer.

Question

Who should I contact on the day of the wedding if I have any questions?

Answer

We have some great friends who have volunteered to take charge of anything that might come up on the wedding day, so please reach out to us prior to the wedding day to get their numbers. Of course, if we are your only contacts and something comes up, please don't hesitate to reach out!
