The Summer after college Phil and Lizzy both found themselves in the mountains of Western North Carolina serving at a camp as mentors for high school camp counselors. What began as a camp partnership turned into Wednesday night pizza runs, silly inside jokes, campsite adventures, long talks, Bible study discussions, sunrise hikes, and an inseparable bond that was clear to everyone around. On the very last day of camp, after all the campers had gone home and the staff were preparing to celebrate the end of the summer, Phil shared with Lizzy a video montage of their summer together. And that's where this journey really began. What followed were countless trips back and forth, some big moves, fun travels with friends, lots of prayer, new adventures, growing up together, and over 4 years of memories. And with great excitement on New Years Eve 2020, Phil popped the big question and Lizzy said the biggest YES to a lifetime of more memories together. They are excited and looking forward to their newest adventure together as Husband and Wife.
