We met one summer morning on the set of a television show. We were both acting in New York at the time, and we were doing what any young actors do on a weekend... traveling to Long Island for a background gig. We spent the whole day together as wedding guests in the 1980s. We laughed. We sat in silence. We whispered. It was a day of fun and excitement. And then it was over. We followed each other on social media, but that was the end of that. A fun, New York summer moment. One year later, we ran into each other on Broadway and 55th. We stood on the street corner chatting until we had to part ways again: one going to play basketball with a friend, and the other on her way to see a show at New York City Center. But we didn't let another year go by this time; it was only a few days before we saw each other again. From the moment we went on our first date, we knew something about this was different. We spent our first real New York summer together falling in love and quickly came to understand that we wanted this to be forever. The universe had done its job and brought two people back together when the timing was right. After three wonderful years together, we didn't want to put 'forever' off any longer. We are so excited for this next chapter and cannot wait to celebrate our story and future with all of you!
