We're getting married

Mulanga was inspired by Ritondeni’s work on Instagram long before she knew who was behind the lens. Though they briefly connected for a project that didn’t pan out, fate stepped in. On 6 May 2024, they met in person while working at the same location. After a short exchange, she discovered he was the photographer she had quietly admired. They crossed paths again at concerts, and after the second encounter, he reached out. What began as a work conversation blossomed into long, meaningful chats. On 1 November 2024, during what she believed was a birthday shoot, he asked her to be his girlfriend—surprising her with a promise: “2025 won’t end without lobola.” On 2 May 2025, he kept that promise with a heartfelt proposal.
