Space Center Houston
No trip to Houston is complete without a visit to NASA! A mere 35 minutes from Houston to see astronaut training facilities, mission control, historic artifacts from past space explorations, multiple exhibits, and chance to go inside the shuttle replica Independence.
Houston Museum District
Close to the world renowned Texas Medical Center and Rice University, the district is walkable and bikeable and served by four stops on the METRORail. Home to 19 world class museums, including Museum of Natural Science, Contemporary Arts Museum, Holocaust Museum, The Rothko Chapel, The Menil Collection, and The Museum of Fine Arts which is the 12th largest museum in the world with a vast collection of both historic and modern artworks.

The Galleria
An upscale shopping mall in the uptown district of Houston. It is the largest mall in Texas and the seventh largest shopping mall in the United States. Featuring multiple department stores, approximately 400 stores to shop from, and a plethora of great places to eat.
