Clara and Emma are long-time best friends. They met when they were 4 and 6 when Emma walked into preschool Sunday School class where Clara was sat in the corner on time-out. The friendship blossomed from there. Where Clara was, so too was Emma. Some of their fondest memories were made dressing up in old-fashioned clothes with their sisters, learning (or writing) songs together, hitching a ride to Jones' General store for some Pop Shoppe and candy, and occasionally getting a rise out of their younger sisters by writing some spooky and mysterious letters. Clara and Emma did everything together when they were younger, and as they've grown up and started lives outside of their childhood spaces, they still make time for Sobey's runs together, going thrifting, eating sushi, grabbing coffee, and their Monday evening shifts together at Picadilly. In Emma's heart, there is no one that deserves the title of "honor" more than Clara.
