Our wedding will be at Ritz Carlton Al Wadi, Ras Al Khaimah. This is a desert hotel, upon entering the hotel lobby, guests will be directed outside to golf buggies transporting you to the wedding location. There marriage ceremony and wedding reception are adjacent to each other, so there is no walking required. Guests will stay here for the duration of the celebration, which ends at 23:00 (this is mandated by the venue due to noise control). As we are in the desert, and celebrating into the night – it will get chilly. Pashminas or jackets are a good idea.
The marriage ceremony and wedding reception are on concrete flooring. We are surrounded by the desert dunes. Ladies, no issue with heels and the sand!
Yes, there is free valet at the hotel.
For International guests, we have a bus for transport to and from the venue. It is approx. 60-75 mins from Dubai. Taxi is also an option, a journey fare will be approx. AED 250 – 300 (GBP 55 –65). As the Ritz Carlton provide a extensive buffet, there is no need for guests to make a selection. There will be various options so guests can select according to preferences or dietary requirements.
Unforunatly, no! We have checked with Ritz Carlton and they do not have late operating hours. As its an outdoor venue, we will round up the celebrations at 23:00. We therefore encourage our guests make the most of the evening drinking and dancing, and we pick up the next day on the yacht!

- As a sunset yacht party, be preapred for both sunshine and a chill! The weather will be breezy so we suggest guests to have a jacket at hand. - In terms of outfits, ladies there’s plenty of choice, from maxi – mini – jumpsuits – coords. Think long flowy dresses, linens or khaftans. - Gents – think chinos or stylish shorts with open shirts or a polo. As it’s a Dubai yacht party, for those wishing to add a touch of glamour, feel free to take it up a notch! Just be comfortable to enjoy an afternoon relaxing with a scenic cruise and of course to have fun to celebrate our Wedding after-party!
This is an easy choice, as when you board the yacht, shoes will be removed and placed in the cabin - so its go bare or sport your socks of choice!
We will keep this as a dry yacht party, it may be a little chilly in the water.
We hope it will be a fun day for our guests to continue the wedding celebrations and to mingle with each other, we appreciate visitors have come from both near and afar! The yacht will depart from Dubai Harbour and take a scenic route along the Marina, Palm, Bluewaters, with docking points for some time. There will be plenty of photo opportunities with various backdrops of the skyline and special attactions (Atlantis hotel, the ferris wheel Ain, Burj al Arab). The weather should be mild but please ensure you have suncream and sunglasses. It is cool wnough as the yacht moves and into sunset so a jacket is a good idea. The yacht will have an indoor cabin where ladies can keep handbags. There is no need for you to bring anything - as there is no swimming guests don’t need towel or swimwear. We will be setting up a bar on the yacht so beverages will be served (alcoholic and soft drinks) along with some bites.
Please take a taxi to Dubai Harbour Yacht Club, this is the meeting point at 14:00 and from there we go to the yacht for departure 14:30.
