Zach and Lauren met in there freshmen year of college but rarely spoke to each other. After a few years of not really speaking Lauren commented on a picture that Zach posted of himself and commented on how cute he was. From there a few months later after late-night FaceTime calls Lauren went down to Etown for her first date with Zach to Bdubs.

It all started where Zach knew that he loved Lauren. The couple went to Devou Park a couple of times while dating the first that they went together was right before they said I love you to each other for the first time. Zach told Lauren while they were on that date he knew that he loved her. Heading a few years forward when Zach knew he wanted to propose to Lauren he wanted it to be at that spot. He brought up the idea of getting pictures done for their anniversary and that he really liked that location. Lauren loved the overlook of Cincinnati it was her favorite place to go to so she had no hesitation about going. On the day of the proposal, Lauren and Zach were heading to the park to meet with his friend Mallory, who would take pictures with his sister Makeala and her husband Garrett. Everything about that day seemed perfect, sunny weather, no one in the park, and quiet. As we were taking the pictures Zach got down on one knee and asked, will you marry me?
