We will be getting married on May 16th. At this time, we plan to have less than 1/2 our original guess list present with us on the wedding day. We would love to still have everyone play a part in our special day and will be providing a virtual option for those who cannot join us in Pittsburgh.
Yes! We are organizing three ~30 passenger vans to provide transportation to and from the wedding with a TBD pick up and drop off location in Pittsburgh. Please be considerate and wear a mask while using the transportation. Succop is roughly 40 minutes north of Pittsburgh.
Yes! Jewish weddings typically occur after Shabbat, which takes place Friday at sundown until Saturday at sundown. Jewish weddings either will occur later on Saturday evenings or during the day on Sundays.
Not much yet! The ceremony will take place much like any other wedding ceremony. Actually, most people at this wedding have never attended a Jewish ceremony before. One of the reasons we choose Rabbi Aaron Meyer to preside over our ceremony is his vast experience with interfaith marriages. We will provide more information about the customs and traditions at our ceremony.
