Question

What should I wear?

Answer

Casual beach wedding attire - be comfortable! We're getting married by the beach in August, so we expect it to be hot. Light clothing such as linen or cotton is recommended. Maxi dress, sundress, dressy shorts or pants with a nice shirt would all be appropriate. Ladies, the sand is hard packed so wear the heels if you'd like!

Indoors or Outdoors?

Answer

Both the ceremony and reception will be outdoors. There will be tents set up and trees around the property to keep cool.

Question

Will there be transportation to the wedding?

Answer

Yes! There is a trolley that will be making stops around the area to and from the wedding on Saturday. Once you book your accommodations, please let Erin or Anthony know where you're staying so we can include your location on the route! Look out closer to the wedding for the trolley schedule. UBER/Lyft is available on the island. If you rent a car for your time in Key Largo and decide to drive to the wedding, there is plenty of parking at the venue. However, we will be serving alcohol. If you plan to drink, please consider using a ride share.

What airport should I use?

Answer

Miami International Airport is the closest to Key Largo, about an hour drive away. Ft. Lauderdale is the next closest, about an hour and half drive away. Key West is also an option but there are no direct flights and traffic could get hectic driving up the Keys. We recommend renting a car at the airport rather than depending on a ride share for traveling to/from the airport to your hotel/condo.
