FAQs

Question

Can I bring my children?

Answer

Although we love your little ones, we have very large extended families and have chosen to limit our guest list to those twelve years old and up and we hope you understand. Our venue does not have child care nor a designated space for children to play and keep themselves busy.

Question

Can I bring a date/plus one?

Answer

Due to limited seating we will only be able to accommodate those listed on your invitation. If you believe we have missed a member of your party please reach out.

Question

I cannot attend in person, will there be a virtual celebration?

Answer

Unfortunately we will not be streaming for those not in attendance. However we have the very best photographer and videographer to capture the day and will share photos and video when available.

Question

Do you have a hotel block for guests?

Answer

Due to the Harley Davidson 120th Anniversary in Milwaukee being the same weekend as our wedding, we were unable to secure a block of rooms in the area between Kenosha and Milwaukee. We suggest checking Airbnb or Vrbo in downtown Kenosha/Racine or nearby hotels (Wyndam Garden or Stella) for regular nightly rates. If you need any specific suggestions, please reach out.

Question

What is an 'Unplugged Ceremony'

Answer

An unplugged wedding ceremony is one in which the couple kindly requests that guests put away cell phones, cameras, ipads, and any other devices in order to be fully present in the moment. We have amazing photographers and videographers and will share when they are available.

Question

When should I arrive?

Answer

We ask that guests plan to arrive at 2pm to allow plenty of time for parking, getting to the venue and finding a seat. Our ceremony will begin promptly at 2:30pm. *Please check our timeline tab for a detailed schedule of the day's events

Question

Where can I park?

Answer

There is plenty of free/non-metered street parking throughout downtown Kenosha. Additionally, there is a parking structure 'Lot 21' at the cross streets of 57th st. and 8th ave and another smaller lot 'Lot 9' located across from Kaisers. *We will provide more info on this as it becomes available!

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Yes. The attire is Festive/Cocktail. We ask that you please dress appropriately for the occasion. A detailed description can be found on our 'Timeline & Attire' tab or follow this helpful link: https://www.brides.com/story/wedding-dress-code-explained If you are still unsure, google and pinterest are great references!

Question

Is it an open bar?

Answer

Yes! Tips appreciated by the bartenders.

Question

Is the venue wheelchair accessible?

Answer

Yes, there is an elevator to take guests from the foyer to the second floor for the ceremony/reception if stairs are not a good option.

Question

Can I take and post photos to social media?

Answer

Of course! Aside from our unplugged ceremony, we welcome and encourage our guests to take plenty of photos and videos...as long as you share them with us!! Don't forget to use the hashtag #MudgeLove

Question

Where can I RSVP?

Answer

RSVP is closed as of June 10th 2023.
