Muano and Alberto’s story began in Washington, D.C., in July 2018. Muano, living in San Francisco at the time, was spending the summer in the capital, while Alberto had called the city home since 2015. Their first date was one to remember: sunset drinks at the rooftop bar of the iconic Watergate Hotel. The sun set, and the night took them for a dance in a lively Georgetown nightclub. A few weeks later, Muano returned to California to continue her studies, but countless visits and cross‑country adventures in New York, Philadelphia, Santa Cruz, and Napa kept their connection strong. In June 2019, after miles traveled between coasts and hearts that refused to be apart, Muano moved to D.C. ...and they’ve been side by side ever since. ¡Un verano que se convirtió en "para siempre"! On the 4th of July, 2024, during a dreamy Italian adventure through Rome, the Amalfi Coast, and Capri, Sorrento became the backdrop to a moment they would cherish forever. After days of wandering through Rome’s timeless streets and traveling south to the coast of Amalfi, Muano and Alberto set out from Sorrento on a Vespa, tracing the winding coastal road past the colorful cliffs of Positano, the quiet charm of the Fiordo di Furore, and the splendor of Amalfi. That evening, as twilight wrapped the Gulf of Napoli in gold and purple and the silhouette of Mount Vesuvius stood watch in the distance, they shared a candlelit table overlooking the water. With the scent of the sea in the air and the soft hum of the night around them, Alberto took Muano’s hand, spoke words from the heart… and asked her to share forever. ¡Italia tiene un encanto especial!
