A Valima is the wedding reception after the marriage ceremony, where family and friends come together to celebrate the newlyweds.

Will there be a wedding ceremony?

Our Nikkah ceremony will be a private gathering with close family. We are excited to celebrate with all of our loved ones at the Valima reception.

What do I wear?

Answer

We welcome guests to wear traditional Pakistani attire. Formal attire is also a perfect choice. Think long gowns, formal dresses, button ups with dress pants. All are wonderful options.

Can I wear traditional Pakistani clothing if I’m not Pakistani?

Answer

Absolutely! We would love for guests to celebrate alongside us in traditional attire if they’d like. It is warmly welcomed and appreciated.

Will food be served?

Answer

Yes! A halal dinner featuring a variety of flavorful meat and vegetable dishes will be served, followed by dessert. We’re excited to celebrate with you and share a memorable meal together.

Will alcohol be served?

Answer

In keeping with traditions, this will be a fully alcohol-free celebration. We kindly ask that guests refrain from bringing or consuming alcohol at the venue and arrive ready to celebrate respectfully with us. Thank you for helping us honor this special day.
