Where where the ceremony take place?

Answer

The ceremony will be at Colby Falls in Gilbert, Arizona. The reception will follow the ceremony at the same location.

Question

Which hotel should I stay at?

Answer

There are hotels listed in the travel section who have offered us discounted rates by booking directly through the link provided. . All hotels listed have good ratings and offer free breakfast. The closest one to the venue is Holiday Inn Express & Suites which is 3 mins away! All are close enough to Uber/Lyft to and from the wedding should you choose to do so.

Will there be a formal invitation in the mail?

No. Please consider our digital communication your formal invitation.

When do I need to RSVP by?

Answer

Please RSVP by 11/1/24. If you know sooner, we ask that you rsvp sooner. While we want those that need it yo have the time they need, if/when you know you’re coming or know you will instead attend virtually, we ask that you make that selection as soon as possible.

What happens if I RSVP for in person but can’t make it.

Answer

We understand that life happens! We are having this ceremony during the holiday season so people are going to be even more occupied than usual. Contact one of us as soon as you are aware of your change of plans. We have up until 10 days prior to the wedding to make these sorts of last minute adjustments. Please attend virtually if you are able, as we still want you to be a part of our special day. <3

Do I need to rent a car?

Answer

If you are interested in exploring phoenix outside of attending our wedding, you may consider renting a car. For instance, if you come early enough or leave later, you may want to explore a day trip to Sedona or the Grand Canyon. In this case, you may want to get a car for part of your stay, even if not the whole time. The downtown Phoenix, Tempe market place areas, Downton Gilbert are all pretty walkable once you get there. You can Uber to those areas for nightlife, shopping and eateries. All of the above will be listed in the “Things to do section soon.” The hotels listed are in a close proximity from the venue and not far from the airport. If you don’t plan to explore other places, you can Uber/lyft to the hotel from the airport and absolutely do the same for the wedding. No car rental needed!

Do you have a wedding registry?

Answer

We do not. We truly want people to focus on being guests on this day without the concern of providing a gift. We absolutely appreciate the inquiry but you are our gift. Your love, support, and encouragement throughout our marriage is our gift. We love you. This next part is for those who simply will not accept no for an answer. You are the most stubborn of the bunch! We created honeymoon fund available to contribute to on this site.

What will the weather be like?

Answer

In late December, the weather in Phoenix, Arizona is typically warmer than other many places in the U.S, with daytime temperatures ranging from 65–69°F and nighttime temperatures ranging from 40–44°F.

Will there vegan and vegetarian food options?

Answer

Yes. There will be options for vegans and vegetarians. Note: After we have our final RSVP count, we will send out a message asking for those who are vegan, vegetarian and those with any food allergies to notify us so that we ensure the venue is made aware.

How do I request a song to be played during the reception?

Answer

We welcome song recommendations. We will have a variety of guests and want to make sure everyone has a chance to request something they would like to hear. Send one of us a text directly before 11/25/24 and your song will be added to the list!

I plan on bringing in the New Year in Phoenix! Any recommendations?

Answer

We will continue to add recommendations on the “Things to do” tab of the website as NYE events are announced. For those interested in fireworks, Tempe town lake usually has them! Stay tuned for more!

What is the dress code?

Answer

The dress code is semi formal+ This means that semi formal would be the most casual. For those who want to dress more formally, you are most welcome to. We are asking ALL guests (unless otherwise asked) to wear the guests colors: Guests Colors range from Cream/off white to Khaki. Off white/cream being the lightest and Khaki being the darkest. Colors in this wheel are: Cream, Apriocot, Taupe, Off White, Beige, Naked, Sand. Champagne, Khaki. An example color wheel has been sent via email.
