This is our one-stop shop for EVERYTHING (and where we got the bling). With tons of shops and rides to choose from, you can easily spend all day there. They have the Underwater World where you can get "under the sea" as well as many different foods to indulge on.
Due to COVID-19, you may need to reserve a spot. However, this is a free zoo and observatory that is open to the public, with donation spots around. We had many dates here and love the observatory that is filled with plants (Sam's favorite things).
There are so many fun things to do here. You can learn all kinds of things with interactions as well as visit the IMAX theater learning center for an up close and personal view of all things science.
If you are looking for a taste of Italy here in the twin cities, Cossetta's is the place to go. You have the Italian eatery, as well as pastries, groceries, and gelato. This is where we had a few too many dates judging by our waistline. We wanted to share the calories.
Great trails for the inner explorer or for a nice nature walk. After you're done, stop by the Hastings Dairy Store for one of the best, cheap milkshakes.
Just a few blocks away from the proposal site, we had a few dates here. They have a great food with the small town feel.
Our morning coffee stop on our way to work just got better when we stumbled across this place. Super friendly service with great coffee, all from a little drive thru hut.
Cozy, homey vibe with great baked goods and the best Mocha's in town. Though Sam may a little bias, as this is her work place, this is somewhere you want to go for your caffeine fix.
