The events are held on the Shangri La Event Center property. Each event is located at it's own address/driveway access The Ceremony will be held at the Island: 15818 Agler Road, Garrettsville, OH 44231 Cocktail hour and the reception will be held at the tent: 16110 McCall Road, Garrettsville, OH 44231

Can I bring my children?

We love ALL of your children, however we have decided to make this an adult only celebration. We hope you understand!

Dress attire

Answer

Semi formal Our celebration is outside so please dress appropriately for Ohio weather. As we all know, the O-H weather is very unpredictable. The weather can be in the high 60s to low 40s. Guest who wear heels, the ceremony will be held on grass.

Our venue has handicap accessible restrooms and golf cart transportation.

Amenities and features

Answer

Our day will be celebrated outdoors and the reception will be held in a large tent next to beautiful lake! The venue also has a fire pit, outdoor seating areas and a volleyball court. The venue will offer heaters inside the tent if deemed necessary due to weather. The celebration will also include an open bar. We encourage to please tip our wonderful bartenders serving us through the evening. No one is permitted in the water at any time. For anyone who enters the water will be responsible to pay the $1000 fine.

Can I bring a date?

In order to keep our guest list on track we are only able to accommodate those guests formally invited on your wedding invitation. Please feel free to reach out to us with any questions!

When should I RSVP by?

Please respond to our event by 08/31/2024. Our RSVP can be found under the tab RSVP on our site. Please connect with us if you have any questions or issues.

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

Please arrive to the ceremony by 1:45pm. Our wedding will promptly start at 2pm. The ceremony takes place at Shangri La Island: 15818 Agler Road, Garrettsville, OH 44231

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?

Our area has Uber and Lyft for all your transportation needs.
