For years, Aaron often visited his sister Chantel (as he did not live but a few blocks away), Never had he saw Miriam, or ANYONE coming out of the corner house of Dauphin Street. Until ONE DAY, Chantel's mother, Bertha, had needed help with her computer. It has been running a bit slow, and Miriam was her "go-to-person" when this kind of thing happened. Miriam had just finished getting dressed, as it was her 16th birthday, and she was going out to celebrate. After getting called down the street, Miriam walked into Ms. B's house. All the usual faces were in the living room... all, but ONE. After exchanging a few sideways glances (mostly Aaron staring), Aaron asked Miriam a few questions once they were alone. Questions like: Why so dressed up? How did she know his sister and her mom? What was she doing for Ms. B? and Was she from the neighborhood? To Miriam's surprise Aaron boldly stated that she was "One of the prettiest 'big girls' he had ever seen." He then went on to say "I've seen man big women, and none of them looked as good as you." Miriam answered all questions, thanked him for the compliment (laughing it off as it was a bit absurd to hear), finished her work on the computer, and then the two parted ways. To Aaron's disbelief, there was NO WAY she had lived in THAT corner house for a long as she claimed (2 years). Aaron said he'd been coming around for quite some time, and NEVER did he see ANYONE come out of that house. Over the next year, Aaron continued to visit Chantel... Never seeing Miriam on ANY of his visits. Miriam wasn't home very much. Still hanging with friends from her old neighbor, or spending a lot of time with her family, Miriam was never really around much. It was now Miriam's 17th Birthday, and who should show again but Aaron. He couldn't believe she was back. After some interrogation, and proving to Aaron where she lived, the two spent the next several hours, days, and years... together.
