We met as friends seven years ago, unaware that we would become united hearts. We had no idea that we had found the love of our lives. As we grew to know each other, our hearts became magnetic. No matter where we went separately in life, we wound up at the same destination. With each other. We spent years being naive. Both of us not convinced that love belonged to us. Until it became undeniable, we were made for each other. Once we took the leap of faith and invested in "US", it felt obvious that we were meant to be. It seemed almost foolish to not have committed sooner. As if we've been living without our better halves our whole lives. After realizing how priceless our love was, there was only one thing left to do. So, I (Christopher) met her with a few dozen roses and took her for a walk one evening after work. She hadn't noticed that it was at the same location where we had our first date. I told her how much I adored her, and how much my heart called for her's. We walked and talked as if this was our first date. I convinced her to walk ahead of me, so I could "tie my shoe". Soon she grew suspicious and wondered what was taking so long. And as she turned around, there I was. On bended knee with a "Ring Pop". (Yes, The candy!) I asked her if she'd be Mrs. Wallace. She jokingly replied, "Yes!" As we placed the candy ring on her finger, we both laughed. I asked her, "do you like the ring I have for you?" "Of course!" She exclaimed. Then I simply replied, "Then you're going to love this one!" She said "Yes" officially as I placed the real ring on her finger. And now, the true journey begins.
