FAQs

Question

ARE YOU REALLY GETTING MARRIED ON A WEDNESDAY?

Answer

July 24th is a special day for us: it's the day we had our first date and it's the day Joshua proposed. While we realize the middle of the week may be an inconvenience to some, we hope that you'll be able to move some things around to help us celebrate the start of our new life together.

Question

ARE KIDS INVITED?

Answer

We love ALL of your children; however due to limited space, we are only able to include a few kiddos, which we have reserved for our nieces, nephews, and a handful of cousins. We hope you understand!

Question

CAN I BRING A DATE?

Answer

Oh la la. In order to keep our guest list on track, we are only able to accommodate those guests formally invited on your wedding invitation.

Question

ARE THE CEREMONY AND RECEPTION AT THE SAME LOCATION?

Answer

Yes. There is plenty of parking (it's free!) and a shuttle to and from the parking lot for those who may need it.

Question

What time should I arrive?

Answer

We suggest arriving at least 15 minutes prior to the start of the ceremony to allow yourself enough time for parking and to get a seat. If you are one of our beloved family members who struggle with being on time, plan to be there at least 45 minutes ahead of time to give yourself a buffer :)

Question

WHAT’S THE DRESS CODE?

Answer

Garden Attire: Feel free to wear sundresses, floral prints, suits in lighter hues. Cocktail attire acceptable as well. No jeans please. But we want you to feel comfortable, so if those shoes are too high or that top button is too tight, let it all hang loose.

Question

CAN I TAKE PHOTOS OF YOUR SPECIAL DAY DURING THE CEREMONY AND RECEPTION?

Answer

We're excited to have you come and request that we see your faces, not your devices, during the ceremony. Though the "I Do's" are unplugged, the reception is not!

Question

Is there lodging available for guests near/at the wedding location?

Answer

There is restricted lodging available for designated guests, such as the bridal party, at the wedding location. However, camping on the property is permitted should you choose to embrace your outdoorsy side before or after the wedding! Indoor showers and dressing areas are available to those who choose to camp during the week of the wedding. The bride and groom will be enjoying sleeping under the stars before starting their new adventure together as husband and wife so feel free to join us!

Question

Will there be food and drinks served?

Answer

Summertime means summer food! We'll have enjoying an array of BBQ meats plus a tossed salad, mashed potatoes and gravy, and sweet potato rolls. There will be lemonade and tea available for all; beer and wine available for those 21+ years of age. For our vegetarian friends, meatless options will be available for you to enjoy as well!

Question

What time is the reception scheduled to end?

Answer

At approximately 10pm

For all the days along the way
