We met in October of 2017. Without thinking things would progress, they did the exact opposite, and progressed quicker than expected! After just a few weeks of us talking, Noah hopped on an airplane and flew from Connecticut to Minnesota to meet Mary in person for the first time. Although we were both nervous, once we saw each other, all anxieties were gone and there was an instant connection. Each month we spent a week or so visiting each other in our own parts of the country. Good-bye's were difficult, but we knew in just a month, we'd be seeing each other again. In March of 2018, Noah took Mary to Bluff Point State Park in Groton, CT for a "hike". During the hike, we stopped at the edge of the cliff that overlooked the ocean. One thing led to another and Noah opened up a ring box and asked Mary to marry him! Obviously she said "yes" and couldn't be any happier. We definitely have a very different story than most. We know that our Catholic faith keeps us grounded and we always keep Christ as the constant center of our relationship. Although we will be long distance until we get married, we know that the goodbye's are only temporary compared to the lifetime we have together beginning soon. Thank you for all of the support and love! We can't wait to celebrate with each and every one of you.
