We met in a marketing class in college in 2011. We sat next to each other in the back of the class and would always get yelled at for talking too much! We were in group projects together and hung out with friends often. We really hit it off as friends and we had hilarious back and forth banter. All of our friends suggested that we should date each other but the timing never aligned. We stayed in touch on and off throughout the years but again timing was always the issue! That is, up until 2017, where we rekindled our friendship and started the foundation for our amazing journey together as a couple!

Every year we go down to Florida, rent a car and go exploring. One of our trips was to St. Augustine to see the Castillo de San Marcos. We ate at a really good bbq place and then set out to explore the town. We started to walk around the fort and he told me to look up at something. So, I turned my head to look and then he said, “babe...” and I turned back around to him and he was down on one knee with a gorgeous diamond ring in his hand. He said a bunch of beautiful stuff I am sure (I was so excited and in shock I could barely listen to him!) and asked me to marry him, to which I of course said, “YES!” I was so excited and in disbelief. My knees felt weak and I thought I was going to fall right off the fort and into the ocean! We then walked around some more but got caught in a nasty storm. Which is ok because in some cultures, rain is good luck! We will have to revisit the town again one day!

Our beloved dog is named Tank! He is an English Mastiff weighing around 230lbs. He is big, smelly, drools and is very high maintenance but we love him anyway! I already had Tank for almost a year before Julio and I started our relationship. We spent a lot of nights outside tiring Tank out either before or after going out on dates. Tank fell in love with Julio very fast! Tank loves going on walks, visiting grandma and grandpa and most of all going for car rides! Nowadays we call ourselves the three amigos because "wherever we go, he goes!" (it rhymes lol) Tank will almost be 6 by the time we get married. Its unfortunate he can’t be with us at the venue but we plan on including him via little touches throughout the day so be on the look out for Tank themed things!

Thank you to our parents and family members who have taught us what is means to love selflessly and unconditionally. There is so much love on both sides of our families and they have been great examples for us. We are excited to celebrate this journey with you!
