Like many modern love stories, ours started with a swipe… on Bumble, right in the middle of the COVID pandemic. We quickly bonded over our shared love for music festivals and live shows. It didn’t take long to realize that while we may attend many of the same festivals, our music tastes couldn’t be more different, and we would often end up dragging the other to see our favorite artists and introducing each other to new music. Our relationship grew quickly, from movie nights at home and frozen banana walks on Balboa Island, to moving in together and building a life filled with laughter, Mario Party, and still plenty of frozen bananas. Fast forward to a beach sunset where Ben promised we were just going to relax and have pizza and a beer (which was a hard sell since Brittany was seven months pregnant). When we arrived, Ben proposed with both of our families there. Brittany couldn’t believe he had managed to pull off the surprise, especially since she frequently monitors both of our sisters’ locations. It was the easiest yes ever, even without the beer. Now, a few years and one very energetic toddler later, our love story continues with Wyatt, the best little sidekick we could ask for. He keeps us laughing, dancing, and always on our toes. We can’t wait to celebrate this next chapter of our love with all of you, and we are truly so grateful to be surrounded by the people we love most.
