Vinny and Ashley's story began in January of 2016 when they met online. This was just before Ashley graduated from college in May. Once schooling was out of the way, their relationship took off! Vinny was born in the Bronx and raised in Manahawkin, New Jersey where most of his family currently resides, but he was already living in Exton, Pennsylvania when he and Ashley began dating. He's an amazing and hardworking man who believes success comes to those who put in the work! Ashley was born in Reading, Pennsylvania where most of her family resides and, to say the least, she was eager to book it and experience new things! She's a strong believer in persistence and love and nothing matters more to her than her family, her baby Oreo (cat), and now, her soon to be husband Vinny. She finally got the golden ticket and recently accepted a new role in Berwyn where she assists with the administering of health insurance packages for a small business in the local Chester County area. But in the heart of Exton is where they fell in love!
The Washington at Yellow Historic Springs 1685 Art School Road Chester Springs, PA 19425 Originally built around 1750, the Washington building has served as a colonial inn and tavern when the village of Yellow Springs was a fashionable spa. Our venue is stunning because it has old world charm, historic ruins, stone and wooden flooring, a fireplace and chandeliers. Our ceremony will be held outdoors at the top of the hill near the ruins and historic tree. You will either walk up a flight of wooden and gravel steps or up the grassy hill to reach the ceremony site (wear comfortable shoes!). Transportation accommodations to the top of the hill can be made for our older guests and those who are unable to physically reach the ceremony site on their own. The historic tree, where we will exchange our vows, will provide for plenty of shade. In the event we have rain, our ceremony will be taken indoors to the second floor. If you cannot take the stairs, simply head up and around to the back of the building where you may enter through a second-story side door. Cocktail hour will be held at the fountain and our reception will follow inside of the Washington building.
