Vermont is one of our favorite places to visit. Anna has been going up to Woodstock with her family since she was a baby, as her mother, Ellen, worked for Laurence S. Rockefeller, who built the Inn. When Anna was little she saw her first wedding there and knew that she wanted to get married at the Inn. After only a month of dating, Anna and Andrew went on their first of many trips to Woodstock to go skiing. Andrew fell in love with Woodstock and they can't imagine getting married anywhere else!

We hope that all family members and friends will be able to celebrate this day with us. In order to make this possible, and due to space restrictions for the reception room, we have decided that the wedding reception will be for adults only. This does not mean that children are not welcome. We have made arrangements for on-sight sitters to look after the children in a room nearby, where there will be food and games. After dinner, we will be moving to the ballroom for dancing, where the children are welcome to join us! Our sitters will stay with the children in the kid’s room, but will not be responsible for them after the reception and will not be able to put anyone to bed. Should you like someone to stay with your child after the reception or to put your child to bed, we suggest that you hire a sitter. We hope that this advance notice means that you are still able to share our big day.

September is a busy time of year in Woodstock. Woodstock is a small town and there already are 3 weddings in town on the same day. We strongly recommend that you book your accommodations as soon as possible!
