We were set up on a blind date by one of my Georgia teammates and one of Shelley's friends. Although we were strangers, by the end of the date we felt like we had known each other for a long time. It was a quick and strong connection, the kind that is rare to experience. We both knew that we had hit the jackpot when it comes to blind dates!

I thought this day was never going to get here! Patrick & I had a trip to Indian Rocks Beach, FL planned for months. We had a great first day! We went to the beach, played putt putt (I got a hole in one), and fed alligators! Patrick asked me to marry him that evening walking on the beach at sunset. I could not be happier with that day nor with this season of engagement! In the past year, we have felt so loved and encouraged by friends and family. We have taken the time to grow our relationship with each other, and with Jesus as we prepare our hearts for marriage. We would like to thank everyone for their kind words and support! I cannot wait to share our special day with all of you!
