Is there a dress code?

Answer

Come as you are. We love you just the way you are and want you to be able to celebrate comfortably with us. Unfortunately, our venue will have a very limited amount of seating available during the ceremony. Our ceremony will be short and sweet (under 15 minutes), but please wear comfortable shoes so that your feet won’t be too tired to dance with us!

What will the weather be like this time of year?

Answer

Your guess is as good as ours. We all know Florida’s wether is unpredictable at all times of the year. It might be cool; it might be hot. Could be dry, but maybe not.

Where are the ceremony and the reception taking place?

Answer

Both events will be held at the same location listed on your wedding invitation.

Will the ceremony and reception be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

Our venue includes both indoor and outdoor event space. The plan is to have a quick ceremony outside on the deck over the lake, dinner inside, and then you will be free to mingle.

What happens after the ceremony?

Answer

After the ceremony, the bridal party and families will be taking photos. Guests can head inside where there will be finger foods and beverages. Once photos are finished, we will join you inside for dinner.

What should I do if I can’t make it?

Answer

We will definitely miss you. Please RSVP “no” or let us know you will be celebrating from afar as soon as possible so that we can plan accordingly.

How do I get to the venue?

Answer

Our venue is located off of Waldo Road between Waldo and Gainesville. We will put out signs to help. Please be aware that our venue is in the middle of the forest and once you turn off of Waldo Road, you will have to drive on an unpaved road to reach the wedding site.

What time should I arrive?

Answer

To help get the party started on time, please plan to arrive by 3:45. Our ceremony will start at 4:00.

Where should guests park? Is parking free?

Answer

Free parking is located at the venue.

Are kids welcome?

Answer

Of course! However, our venue is located inside a working forest and next to a lake. Children MUST be supervised at all times for their safety.

When is the RSVP deadline? Do I need to mail back my RSVP or can I do it online?

Unfortunately, due to venue capacity we are unable to accommodate anyone not listed on your invitation.

Are the ceremony and reception location wheelchair accessible?

Answer

Yes.

Will food and drinks be served at the reception? What kind of food?

Answer

Yes. We will have BBQ, tea, and lemonade. *Check back later for a full menu* Alcohol will not be served.

Can I take and post pictures of the wedding on social media?

Answer

We have hired a wonderful photographer to document our day. We ask that you please refrain from taking any pictures or videos during the ceremony so that our photographer will be able to get any shots that she needs to take without obstructions. However, once the ceremony is over we would love for you to take all the pictures your heart desires. If you share them on social media, please use our hashtag, #LoveMakesUsMullinsaires so that we can see them all.
