Athens Twilight Criterium
As our brother put it, if shaved legs and spandex shorts are your thing, then so is the Athens Twilight Criterium! This weekend-long event attracts cyclists from all over the nation and the world as they race at an average of 30 mph. The streets of downtown Athens will become a block party as cyclists, spectators, and local vendors accumulate to enjoy the festivities.
State Botanical Garden of Georgia
Take some time and smell the roses! The State Botanical Garden of Georgia is a free 313 acre horticultural conservatory with walking paths and education programs for kids and adults.
Sandy Creek Park
Enjoy outdoor recreation in a beautiful setting as this 782 acre park surrounds 260 acre Lake Chapman. Sandy Creek Park offers a variety of activities including with nature trails, disc golf, and boating activities.

Sanford Stadium
