It was the first day of a new semester. As I walk into stratigraphy class and head to an open seat ,a very nice gentleman turns around and asks, "What is your name?" I quickly look to my side, nobody is there. I turn back and he is staring right at me. I reply, "My name is Ariel, yours?" He quickly states, "Hi Ariel, my name is Nick." It was our passion for rocks that brought us together in the spring of 2016, but it was not till the following summer that our love blossomed after a night of listening to the Doors on Freemont Street and betting all on black at the Golden Nugget. Since then we have graduated college, adopted two crazy cats, moved to Houston, Texas and started our careers. However, this October we are tying the knot where it all started. Las Vegas, NV!
