We’re getting married!

Their love story began in 2014 and it had all the makings of your classic fairy tale romance: beer pong, Dallas Cowboys, red solo cups and heavy metal music. The pair met at a house party when they got teamed up during a beer pong tournament. Between expert-level shots (they used to be pretty dang good) and shots of the more boozy variety, they got to talking…and then never stopped. Their seemingly endless list of shared interests kept the conversation going through the night until Sarah had to leave and managed to slip out without so much as a goodbye or an abandoned glass slipper. The love story could have ended there, but luckily Wyatt was determined. It wasn’t long before he managed to find Sarah via social media and attempted to rekindle their lost connection from the party. Little did he know what a challenge this would be. Sarah — whose heart is not so easily won — was skeptical at first and kept her distance from the not-quite-drinking-age guy from the party. But Wyatt sensed there was a spark there. After many cleverly-crafted text messages and humorous Facebook chats, Sarah ultimately found herself won over by Wyatt’s charms, determination, and debonair good looks. Their first official date was at the incredibly romantic Portland Ski and Snowboard Expo, which accurately set the scene for a couple that would go on to have many exciting adventures together. In addition to parenting the sweetest dog ever and a cat from the depths of hell (j/k we love you Stella!), the pair has embarked on trips to Hawaii, Georgia, Oklahoma, Disneyland and a very emotional tour of Texas where several tears were shed at the Dallas Cowboys AT&T Stadium. It’s been six years now — years filled with all the joys and trials that life has to offer — but they have stood together through it all and have grown more in love with each other as the days go by. Now they are ready for the next adventure of becoming Mr. and Mrs. King.

So we wanted to give a little announcement as something has changed. The bride and groom are happy to announce they are EXPECTING! Mr. and Mrs. King are thrilled to meet the newest member of their family this coming January 2022. Due to the timeframe, Wyatt and Sarah will learn the gender of their little nugget the week before the wedding, and will be sharing the happy news AT THE WEDDING. They are so excited to be able to share the excitement with you all, and are still looking forward to seeing everyone there!
