Lucas and Morgan's story began in the summer of 2018, while Morgan attended Radford University and Lucas attended the University of Virginia. Morgan loved Lucas's height and shared passion for "The Office," a show she started watching just for him. Lucas and Morgan's first date was seeing a movie, however, Morgan was so incredibly nervous and barely sat on the edge of her seat. Lucas has always been patient and understanding so they kept going on dates and made their relationship "boyfriend and girlfriend" official on August 1st, 2018. On April 13th, 2024, Lucas (with the help of some friends) brought Morgan to Lewis Ginter Botanical Garden, where Lucas proposed in a secluded spot to Morgan with the most stunning ring. With Morgan's photographer cousin hiding in the bushes capturing the moment, and their closest friends waiting at their favorite bar, Buddy's, the day was perfect. Their favorite way to spend a weekend is in their Richmond home spending time with their dog Archie. As they eagerly anticipate their wedding day, Lucas and Morgan are excited to exchange vows surrounded by the love of their favorite people.
